Dependency not found - @quasar/app

Cannot use QMediaPlayer as an extension.

Getting error: Extension(@quasar/qmediaplayer): Dependency not found - @quasar/app

I’m using a fresh version of Quasar (v2.7.1) with Vite and Pinia.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

quasar ext add @quasar/qmediaplayer@next
quasar describe QMediaPlayer
